There will be Mass celebrated on Tuesday morning this week at 9.30am.

 

Apostleship of the Sea Second Collection – Sea Sunday

Next week is Sea Sunday, when the Church prays for all those who live and work at sea. There will be a second collection for Apostleship of the Sea, the official maritime welfare agency of the Catholic Church. It provides practical and spiritual support to seafarers visiting our ports. As it is dependent on voluntary donations, please give generously. For more information on the work of AoS please visit www.apostleshipofthesea.org.uk.

 

Tea and Coffee

Tea and coffee will be available after Mass today in the Church Hall, all welcome, please join us.

 

Ladies Group Meeting

There will be a Ladies Group Meeting tomorrow – Monday 3rd July at 2.30pm in the Church Hall.

 

Seniors Cream Tea

This year’s Senior’s Cream Tea will take place on Thursday 3rd August – more information and details to follow.

 

Prayer for Persecuted Christians

The next Churches Together prayer session for persecuted Christians will be held on Saturday 8th July starting at 10:00am. The venue on this occasion will be the Methodist Church (not the hall). There will be two sessions, the second of which will start about 11:30am and finish by 1:00pm. You are welcome to come to one or both sessions.

Coffee Morning

Thank you to everybody who supported the coffee morning last week at Honeyspot Farm. The Poor Clare nuns at Ellesmere send their grateful thanks.

 

Church Lawn Mowing

A rota is being put together for volunteers to mow the lawns in the Church grounds – all equipment is available at Church. If you are able to help out, please contact Pam Lovett or David Milburn.

 

Parish Morning & Evening Prayer

Church will be opened for morning and evening prayer in front of the Eucharist to support the spiritual life of the Parish and bring us together as a community, pastorally. If anybody is interested in attending, please contact Wilf McSherry on 01630 638177.

 

Church Opening

The Church will be open during the summer through to the end of August on week days from 3-7pm for prayer.

 

Market Drayton Foodbank – Thank you

Thank you very much for all your donations over the past weeks, following a very successful supermarket collection, the only items the Foodbank is now low on are long life fruit juice, coffee and rice.
