Welcome to Fr Donlan
Welcome and thank you to Fr Jo Donlan who will be celebrating Mass with us again this weekend.
Home Mission Sunday – 17th September
Next Sunday, the Catholic Church celebrates Home Mission Sunday. This is an opportunity to inspire Catholics and help them to engage with the mission of the Church, whilst supporting the work of the Home Mission Office. On Home Mission Sunday, a second collection is taken to fund the Home Mission Office, the Catholic Faith Centre and the work of Evangelisation in England and Wales.
There is a training session for Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion and Readers at Shrewsbury Cathedral on Saturday 23rd September 10am – 1pm. It would be great if Ministers and Readers from Market Drayton could attend. If you will be attending and/or can give car lifts, please put your details on the list in the Church Porch to let others know.
