A Big Thank You

Please pray for the happy repose of the soul of Nicholas John Williams whose funeral was celebrated last Friday.


Home Mission Sunday – Second Collection

Thank you for your kind and generous donations to the Home Mission collection last week – £86.68 was collected.


Harvest Fast Day: Friday 6 October 2017

This year, we reflect on the endless abundance of God’s love, and how human beings across the world see this abundance in the harvests we bring in, the world over. Envelopes are available at the back of Church for those of you wishing to donate.


Hymn Book Amnesty  Please return to Church any hymn books that you may have taken home – thank you!


Embrace the Middle East  Due to bureaucratic delays, the talk this Thursday 28th Sept at St Mary’s Church has been postponed.

15/10/2017 Annual CAP (Christians against Poverty) Service to be held at the Methodist Church at 6pm.

18/11/2017 International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians Service to be held at the Methodist Church 10 – 1 pm.

Men’s Churches Together Mission – new venture proposed by CTOG to run Joint events as an outreach to the local community

CAP/Foodbank – Can you help with a regular donation to CAP and/or the Foodbank? Donations gratefully received to help with future budgeting for these valuable community projects.

Parish Christmas Fayre

Our Christmas Fayre will be held on Saturday 25th Nov this year – donations of cakes, bottles (tombola) and raffle prizes will be gratefully received. Please advertise to your family, friends and Community. Donations can be left in the box in the Porch.


Buttercross to Bethlehem Support is required for the planning of this year’s Buttercross to Bethlehem. Lots of involvement is needed from all the churches and interested representatives from Churches are invited to a meeting at the Methodist Manse (1 Clive Road) at 7.30pm on Thursday 28th September.


PPC Committee Meeting  The minutes from the latest Parish Pastoral Committee Meeting are available in the Church Porch.


Christmas Angels  These are being distributed again this year around Market Drayton with the aim of sharing God’s love and to bless the community in public places/spaces with a Christmas message. An Appeal has been made for people to knit/crochet them – copies of the pattern are in the Church porch.


Market Drayton Foodbank Combined Harvest Appeal

The Foodbank have launched their Harvest Appeal and are asking for your support with food and funds this harvest.

Donate Food: help by donating an item or two from the Harvest Shopping list to provide for people in crisis. Donate Money: Help to cover the costs of storing and distributing food, as well as developing sustainable projects. Further information including shopping lists are available in the Church Porch. Thank you.
