Parish Christmas Fayre

Our Christmas Fayre will be held next Saturday 25th Nov 10am – 12 noon. Donations of cakes, bottles (tombola) and raffle prizes will be gratefully received – donations can be left in the box in the Church Porch. Anybody who is willing to help to set up or on the day, please contact Margaret McNulty. Please support this event by advertising it to your family, friends and community and we look forward to seeing you all there.

Clergy Education & Training Fund – Special Collection Today

Today the annual collection for the Clergy Education & Training Fund is being held. Special envelopes are available for you to use. If you use weekly Offertory Envelopes, please write in your envelope number. If you do not have this, or you give to your Parish by means of a Standing Order, write in your name and full address (including postcode). It will then be possible to claim Gift Aid on your donation if you have joined the Gift Aid scheme. A leaflet about the fund is also available which provides info on how you can make a regular donation to the Fund by Standing Order, or how you can donate on-line or by cheque. It also explains how to take advantage of Gift Aid to boost your donation. On the training and formation of Priests, the future of our Diocese so much depends and I ask that you give your support in whatever way is possible. It is in every sense an investment in the future of the life and mission of the Diocese.

With every good wish, Yours sincerely in Christ,

+ Mark Bishop of Shrewsbury

Month of the Holy Souls

Many Catholics wish Mass to be celebrated for deceased relatives and friends. If so, kindly place the Mass offering along with the list of names in the envelope provided and write the family name on the front. If you do not wish Mass to be said, the names can still be placed in the envelope but please omit the family name on the front. In both cases, please place the envelope before the Altar.

Christmas Angels

If anybody has been making knitted Christmas Angels, please hand them in ASAP to Catherine Bolton or leave in the Porch.

Market Drayton Foodbank Advent Appeal

The foodbank is appealing for people to donate food by taking a box/bag and adding an item from the Foodbank shopping list each day from 1st December until Christmas Day. Bags/boxes can then be left either at Church or at the Foodbank when it is open: Tuesdays 10-11.30am and Fridays 12.30-2pm. Further details can be found on the poster in the Church Porch.
