Bring & Buy Coffee Morning

A bring & buy coffee morning will be held on Thursday 6th September 10-12noon at Honeyspot Farm, Rosehill Road, TF9 2JU. Donations of cakes etc, would be very much appreciated.

 

Piety Stall Christmas Goods

There is a Christmas catalogue available for anybody wishing to order Christmas Cards, calendars, nativity items, candles etc. Please see Helen McSherry for further information.

 

Request for help in the Church Garden

Help is still needed to help with the Church garden please. Anybody with green fingers or who would just like to help out with a little bit of weeding etc, please contact David Milburn – thank you.

 

Friends of the Holy Land National Gathering

Christian charity, Friends of the Holy Land’s National Gathering wil be held on Saturday 22nd September at 10.30am in Kenilworth at the Parish Centre, St Francis of Assisi CV8 1HL. The event is free to attend including lunch and a brief ecumenical service, and suitable for anyone wanting to find out how they might help the vulnerable Christina communities of the West Bank Gaza, Israel and Jordan. The theme of the day will be ‘More Christians helping more Christians’. The keynote speaker Sami El Yousef – a native of old Jerusalem and CEO of the Latin Patriarchate – will provide a unique insight into the challenges faced by today’s ‘Living Stones’ and how, through our collective endeavours, UK Christians can help. Seniors Afternoon Cream Tea

Thank you very much to everybody who helped and contributed towards this event. The tea was enjoyed by all who attended.

The Foodbank is still collecting food for the ‘Child Holiday Meal’ Appeal where specific foods are being requested please:

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Life Skills

There will be a CAP Life Skills course on offer at the Zone Community Centre on Thursday 6th September from 12.30-2pm. The free course aims to help people with basic budgeting, cooking and confidence building over a period of 8 weeks.
