Clergy Education & Training Fund – Special Collection

Thank you for your donations last week, if there are any further donations to the Clergy Education & Training Fund collection, please leave them in the basket in the Church Porch – thank you.


Colin MacIntosh

Please pray for the happy repose of the soul of Colin MacIntosh and for his family and friends. Information on his funeral arrangements will be available in due course.


Alice Davies

Please pray for the happy repose of the soul of Alice Davies and for her family and friends. Her Requiem Mass will be held tomorrow – Monday 26th November at 10am followed by interment at Market Drayton Cemetery at 11.15am.


Christmas Angels

An Appeal is being made again this year for people to knit/crochet Christmas Angels. The Angels will be labelled and given out as a blessing gift in the community. Knitting/ crochet patterns can be found at http://www.christmasangel.net/info/ or there are copies in the Church Porch.


Christmas Raffle for the new Church Hall

A Christmas raffle is being held to raise funds for our new Church Hall. Prizes include bottles of spirits, vouchers, chocolates and a complete set of hand-knitted nativity figures. If anybody would like to contribute further prizes, there is a box in the Church Porch and raffle tickets are available at £1 per strip.


Prayer for Persecuted Christians

The next Churches Together prayer session for persecuted Christians will be held on Thursday 6th December starting at 7:30pm. The venue is Wollerton URC School Room, Wood Lane, Wollerton. Missio APF Red Boxes

Please bring your red APF boxes into Church to be counted. They can be left in the Church Porch or at the back of Church. Thank you.


Month of the Holy Souls – November

Many Catholics wish Mass to be celebrated for deceased relatives and friends. If so, kindly place the Mass offering along with the list of names in the envelope provided and write the family name on the front. If you do not wish Mass to be said, the names can still be placed in the envelope but please omit the family name on the front. In both cases, please place the envelope before the Altar.


Market Drayton Foodbank – Advent Appeal

Market Drayton foodbank are launching their advent appeal for this year which includes the ‘50p per day for Advent’ appeal and Reverse Advent Calendar. Please see the posters in the Church porch for further information and Reverse Advent Calendars are also available to collect. Donations of food are also needed, see the list of food mostly needed on the Foodbank website: https://marketdrayton.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/ Any donations can be left in the basket in the Church porch or at the Foodbank – Tuesdays 10-11.30 or Fridays 12.30-2pm.
