CAFOD Family fast Day

CAFOD’s Family Fast Day was held last Friday and is an opportunity to support our brothers and sisters around the world. Please leave your envelopes in the offertory collection or the basket in the Church Porch – thank you. For further information, please see the poster in the Church Porch.


Morning and Evening Prayer

During Lent, the Parish continues with Evening and Morning Prayer on Mondays and Wednesdays. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Parish to come together and take part in he the Prayer of the Church. Please see days and times above, we look forward to you joining us.


Prayer for Persecuted Christians

The next Churches Together prayer session for persecuted Christians will be held on Wednesday 20th March 2-3:30pm at Market Drayton Methodist Church Lounge. Toilet Facilities

Due to the Church Hall being unsafe to use, toilet facilities are now available behind the Presbytery in the back yard. Please use the path down the side and back of the house and enter the yard through the door. The toilet is the last door on the right around the corner.


Offertory Envelopes

Next year’s offertory envelopes are available to collect in the Church Porch. If there are any Parishioners who would like to transfer to a Standing Order payment or vice versa, please speak to Helen McSherry – 01630 638177.


Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Volunteer Vacancies

CAP has the following Volunteer vacancies: Community Links Co-Ordinator (PR and promotion of all CAP Services – 4 hrs/week), CAP Office Administrator (basic admin., communications support – 4 hours/week, can be home based for some of the time). Both positions require people who are committed Christians and who are willing to attend CAP Head Office in Bradford for full training following a recruitment & selection process. Market Drayton Foodbank – Lent Appeal

The foodbank is launching its Lent Appeal this Wednesday and gives you the opportunity to help the Foodbank continue its vital work helping local people in crisis. Appeals include AdLent Calendar and 40p for 40 days. Please see posters and leaflets in the Church Porch. Food items may be left in the basket in the Church porch or at the Foodbank during one of the sessions – Tuesdays 10-11.30am and Fridays 12.30-2pm.
