CAFOD Family fast Day

If anybody has any further donations for CAFOD’s Family Fast Day held on Friday 15th, please leave your envelopes in the offertory collection or the basket in the Church Porch – thank you.


Morning and Evening Prayer

During Lent, the Parish continues with Evening and Morning Prayer on Mondays and Wednesdays. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Parish to come together and take part in he the Prayer of the Church. Please see days and times above, we look forward to you joining us.


Foodbank Appeal

The Foodbank has very low stock levels at the moment. Please see https://marketdrayton.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/ for most needed food but any items of non-perishable food, toiletries, washing powder and size 5/6 nappies would be most appreciated. Thank you.


Offertory Envelopes

Next year’s offertory envelopes are available to collect in the Church Porch. If there are any Parishioners who would like to transfer to a Standing Order payment or vice versa, please speak to Helen McSherry – 01630 638177.


Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Volunteer Vacancies Update

CAP is seeking a Volunteer ‘Fresh Start’ Coach to support Jill Alexander in her role as Fresh Start Manager. The role is particularly suitable for those with previous experience in the area of addictions/dependencies and/or life controlling habits. Please note that this position requires the person to be a committed Christian and be willing to attend CAP Head Office in Bradford for full training, after successfully passing CAP’s recruitment and selection process.


Lenten Alms  A box in the wall in the Church has been allocated for Lenten Alms.


Holy Thursday – Evening Mass of The Lord’s Supper

Holy Thursday Mass on 18th April will be held at Ss Peter & Paul, Newport at 7.30pm. There will be a mini-bus taking Parishioners to Mass and will leave at 6.50pm from the car park. Toilet Facilities

Due to the Church Hall being unsafe to use, toilet facilities are now available behind the Presbytery in the back yard. Please use the path down the side and back of the house and enter the yard through the door. The toilet is the last door on the right around the corner.


Market Drayton Foodbank – Lent Appeal

The foodbank is launching its Lent Appeal this Wednesday and gives you the opportunity to help the Foodbank continue its vital work helping local people in crisis. Appeals include AdLent Calendar and 40p for 40 days. Please see posters and leaflets in the Church Porch. Food items may be left in the basket in the Church porch or at the Foodbank during one of the sessions – Tuesdays 10-11.30am and Fridays 12.30-2pm.
