Easter Message

Mavis Price

Please pray for the happy repose of the soul of Mavis Price and for her family and friends. Her funeral service will take place on Monday 29th April at 10.30am.


Easter Flowers Collection

Thank you for your kind and generous donations towards the flowers. The Parish donated £108.00.


Mass Time Change – Sunday 12th May

Due to the 10km run in Market Drayton, Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 12th May at 9.15am.


Nurses required for Chester Lourdes Pilgrimage 

The Chester Across Group has vacancies for two nurses to travel to Lourdes overland by Jumbulance on Thurs 29th Aug to Sat 7th Sept. The cost for nurses is £375 but help is available if this cannot be afforded. There are still a small number of vacancies for helpers and sick or disabled people, and there are alternative dates for local pilgrimages. The pilgrimage is organised by our charity Across. Youth Shrewsbury Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Shrewsbury Diocesan Youth Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, led by Bishop Mark Davies will take place 21-28 October 2019. Please see the poster in the Church porch for further details.


Christians Against Poverty Fresh Start Course

The next Fresh Start course for help with freedom from life-controlling habits, like smoking, gambling, drinking or internet addictions will start Tuesday 30th April 5-6.30pm at Market Drayton Methodist Church. Booking can be made by contacting Jill Alexander on 07845 762309.


Youth Events

There are some future exciting opportunities for young people in the coming months…. World Youth Day at Home (WYD@Home) – On Pentecost weekend 7-9th June 2019 a festival for 15-25 year olds will be hosted at Alton Castle, Staffordshire to include world renowned Christian music artists, sacramental celebrations, inspirational speakers and workshops with praise and worship. Shrewsbury Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2019

Foodbank Appeal – Child Holiday Meals

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Volunteer Vacancies Update

CAP is seeking a ‘Fresh Start’ Coach suitable for those with previous experience in the area of addictions/dependencies and/or life controlling habits. A Life Skills Manager & Coach are also needed to support people with low incomes, budgeting & key life skills support.
