World Communications Day
A second collection will take place today for World Communications Day; a special day of prayer for all those working in the media, teaching, creative and communications industries. Donations can also be made online at www.catholicnews.org.uk/donate-wcd.
Missio Red Boxes
Following Fr Demot Byrne’s visit to celebrate Mass with us a couple of weekends ago, the Parish has now signed up to 22 additional boxes and 3 annual direct debits which is fantastic news – thank you. Any queries, please contact David Milburn.
10km Run Sponsorship
Thank you to everybody who sponsored Wilf McSherry for his run in the Market Drayton 10km road race. Wilf completed the course in 45 minutes and 11 seconds and has already signed up for next year’s race! Total funds raised will be announced once all the monies have been collected and will be divided equally between the Alzheimer’s Society and the building of the new Church Hall.
Christian Aid Week 12-18th May: ‘All Mums Should Live’

You’ll be pleased to know that I have completed the writing of my father’s life-story and am now preparing it for publication. This is a complex and lengthy process which I hope to complete before the end of the year. After that, I will be returning to the story of our church and parish.
Christian Aid Concert
A concert will be held at Market Drayton Methodist Church on Saturday 13th July at 7pm with MDAODS Little Voices Choir and guest performances from Longlands School Choir, MDMC Ukelele Group and MDMC Gospel Choir. Free admission. See poster in Church Porch.
