Foodbank Supermarket Collection – thank you

A very big thank you to all those who helped and supported the Supermarket Collection last Saturday. Donations were steady throughout the day ending with one family donating a whole trolley full of food instead of buying Christmas presents for each other! The collection resulted in another record total of 936.28 kg!! As a result of this fabulous amount of food, the Foodbank is cancelling the collection on Saturday 14th December but still going ahead on Friday 13th December. Volunteers are still needed so if you are able to help, please see Helen McSherry or email volunteer@marketdrayton.foodbank.org.uk.
